FAQs

What are your opening hours?
We are open from 12pm Monday to Friday and from 9am Saturday and Sunday. Food available at the following times. 12pm to 9pm Monday to Saturday 12pm to 8pm Sunday Lunch Menu – 12pm to 5pm Monday to Saturday Breakfast served from 9am – 11.30am Saturday & Sunday
Do I need to book a table or do you accept walk-ins?
We always recommend booking to avoid disappointment. However, we do set aside some tables for walk-in guests too so will always try to accomodate you, perfect for those last minute plans.
Do you have parking?
Yes, we have ample car parking at the Orange Tree including a handful of disabled spaces by the front entrance.
Is your restaurant wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our restaurant is fully accessible with much of the seating on the same level. We want everyone to feel comfortable when dining with us. The Orange Tree in Congleton is over two floors but we have plenty of accessible seating on the ground floor.
How can I make a change to a booking?
To make a change to your booking you use the link in your email confirmation you received. Alternatively if you don't have this you can give the location you are visiting a call. Please note, calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes.
Can I book an outdoor table?
Unfortunatly not. Our outside tables are on a first come first serve basis so are not available for booking.
Do you have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options?
Absolutely, The Orange Tree offers vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. We clearly mark on our menus the dishes that are suitable for your preferences but are team will also be happy to help.
Can you accommodate food allergies or intolerances?
Of course. Please let us know of any allergies when you arrive and our team will guide you through how you can see the dishes that are suitable for your needs. Our kitchens handle a wide range of allergens, so we can’t guarantee any of our food is completely allergen-free.
Do you have a kids menus?
Yes, your little foodies are always welcome. Not only do we have a great menu for kids we also have activity packs to keep the little ones entertained. We also have highchairs available if required.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major cards, contactless, and of course cash. You can also pay using Apple Pay and Google Pay as well as spreading the cost of your visit using Clearpay.
What is your cancellation policy?
Plans change, we get it! If you can’t make your booking, please cancel through the email confirmation you received or let us know as soon as possible so we can release your table.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. You can purchase both e-gift cards and physical gift cards through our online shop or you can purchase them in one of our restaurants. Simply ask a team member and they will be able to help.
Does my Parogon gift card have an expiry date?
Yes, all Parogon gift cards are valid for 12 months from purchase. You can visit parogongiftvouchers.co.uk/balance to check your balance and when the card expires.
Can I book for a large group?
Yes, the Orange Tree can cater for large parties. At our Newcastle restauant we can sit up to 22 on the same table and at our Congleton venue we can sit up to 14 on one table.
Is there a buffet menu?
Yes, depending on your party size and occasion we have buffet menus that are suitable for wakes, birthdays, anniversaries and much more. You can see the menu in the downloads section of our menu page.
Do you have a private dining space?
We have 2 spaces at our Congleton restaurant that can be used for a private occasion. The upstairs space can be used for large gatherings but depending on the size of the group this will not be on one table.
Can I open a Corporate account?
Yes. We have a number of corporate clients who use our restaurant who benefit from having an account. This provides the flexibility to use the Red House and charge the account without having to pay on the day.
